Like A Dragon Gaiden: Best Teammates For Coliseum

If you’re aiming to master the Coliseum in Like a Dragon Gaiden, this guide breaks down the best teammates you can bring with you.

Now, there are some requirements you have to meet to be able to change your appearance and outfits, and the game isn’t necessarily forthcoming with what these requirements are and how you can then change your outfit after meeting them. That’s why this guide is here to help you know what to look out for in order to start accessorizing your Kiryu.

How To Customize Outfits

LIke A Dragon Gaiden - Character in Boutique

The first thing you have to do in order to customize your outfit in the game is reach a certain point in the story. In this case, this point is when you reach the Castle section in Chapter 2. There will be a point where you are sent back to the castle by Akame, which is the moment you need to watch out for.

When you come back to the Castle, you will be shown The Boutique, a shop you can visit at the Castle. There are two vendors here at the shop, with one of them giving you access to purchasing gear to help you in combat.

But it’s the other vendor that we are most interested in, as this vendor will allow you to purchase new clothes that Kiryu can wear. It is through this vendor that you can create new outfits out of different items of clothing.

You will be able to create outfits to wear when you are out and about, while also creating an outfit to use in the Coliseum. It gives you the chance to customize your character for either scenario. The out and about outfit, called Casual Wear, involves clothing like jackets, hats, sunglasses, and more of the typical clothing most people would wear. Coliseum clothing covers things like masks and armor to go with the combat-centered gameplay of the area.

When you want to change an outfit, you can return to The Boutique and change the clothes you are wearing, depending on which ones you have in your inventory.

While buying clothes from The Boutique is the most straightforward way to get new clothes, you can also unlock them through completing quests or even purchasing them from the Akame shop. Just bring them to this shop, and you can throw them on Kiryu.

If you are purchasing clothing at The Boutique, you will need yen to buy it, obviously. But when you are purchasing clothing from the Akame shop, you will need to use Akame Network Points, which can be obtained by completing Stroll n’ Patrol missions and requests.

It is also important to note that once you have purchased or unlocked an item of clothing, you are also unlocking the different colors and patterns for it. It gives you even more customization, which is never a bad thing in an RPG of this caliber.
