Rainbow Six Siege Update 2.74 Patch Notes For Y9S1.3 Today (May 2)

Ubisoft has confirmed that a new Rainbow Six Siege update will be going live later today, which means players can expect servers to be down for approximately 60 minutes across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. But once things are back up and running, there will be plenty of new balancing adjustments to check out.

Today’s update will be deployed at 9AM ET / 1PM UTC / 2PM BST, with patch sizes varying depending on your platform of choice. According to Ubisoft, Steam users will find their patch to be 860MB, while Ubisoft Connect users will have a slightly larger patch size of 935MB. As for console users, Xbox One is 1.1GB, PlayStation 4 is 1.4GB, PlayStation 5 is 1.34 GB, and (for some reason) Xbox Series X users have a whopping 10.73 GB update to download.

OPERATOR BALANCING

AZAMI

• Increased damage from High caliber Handguns and Revolvers by 10%.
• Increased damage received by Medium caliber SMGs and ARs by 10%.
• Increased damage received by High caliber ARs and LMGs by 5%.

IANA

• Added Impact EMP Grenade.
• Removed Stun Grenades.

LESION

• Gadget refill increased to 25 seconds (from 20).
• Initial damage reduced to 3hp (from 5).
• Added Observation Blocker.
• Removed Impact Grenades.

NØKK

• HEL Presence Reduction duration and cooldown increased to 30 seconds (from 20).

ORYX

• Remah Dash destroys Deployable and Talon Shields.

SENS

• R.O.U. Projectors increased to 4 (from 3).

GADGET BALANCING

IMPACT GRENADE:

• Damage reduced to 40hp (from 60).
• Reduced explosion radius to 2 meters (from 3).

BALLISTIC SHIELDS:

• Explosion threshold to trigger the Guard Break reduced to 30hp (from 50).
