Destiny 2 Warlord’s Ruin is the latest dungeon that was released in Season of the Wish, and it takes place in the European Dead Zone. Just like every previous Dungeon, Warlord’s Ruin comes with a brand-new Exotic weapon as well as 4 brand-new Legendary weapons.

These Legendary weapons also come with their own Origin Trait called Sundering, which provides these weapons with extra reload speed and charge rate whenever you destroy vehicles and constructs, and that includes barricades and Stasis Crystals.

5 Naeem’s Lance

Underwhelming Archetype

Salient Features

  • The weapon archetype of Naeem’s Lance is underperforming in both PvE and PvP.
  • It lacks good weapon perks for both PvE and The Crucible.

Naeem’s Lance is the first ever Rapid-Fire Frame Strand Sniper Rifle that drops from the second and third encounter of the Dungeon. Rapid-Fire frame Snipers are underwhelming even though they received some buffs a while back.

Naeem’s Lance also lacks in the perk department for both PvE and PvP. For PvE. In the left column, we have perk options like Reconstruction, Hatchling, and Discord. While in the right column, we have perks like Demolitionist and Precision Instrument. For PvP, it does not have any good accuracy perks, leaving it worthless in The Crucible.

4 Dragoncult Sickle

Dragoncult Sickle is a Caster-Frame Sword that has Strand affinity. Caster-Frame Swords have not been seen much in Destiny 2 and have the advantage of shooting out projectiles. Despite this, they underperform in most of the general content.

Dragoncult Sickle does have some interesting perk combinations. In the left column, it has perk options like Demolitionist, Unrelenting, and Tireless Blade, while in the right column, we have good options like Surrounded, Whirlwind Blade, Chain Reaction, and Golden Tricorn.

Vengeful Whisper is a Precision frame Strand Bow that drops from the First and Second encounter of the Dungeon. Precision frame Bows are the desirable archetype and are commonly used in higher-difficulty content. Vengeful Whisper being the first ever Strand Bow also gives it an advantage over other Bows in the game.

Vengeful Whisper can roll with double damage perks. For PvE, in the left column, we have perk options like Archer’s Tempo, Explosive Head, and Slice. In the right column, we have perks like Successful Warmup, Hatchling, and Precision Instrument. For PvP, we have perk options like Archer’s Tempo, Hip-Fire Grip, and Offhand Strike.

2 Indebted Kindness

Indebted Kindness is the first ever Rocket-Assisted Frame of the Sidearm archetype, and has Arc affinity. It fires rocket projectiles that deal area-of-effect damage. Indebted Kindness can drop from every encounter of Warlord’s Ruin and uses Special ammunition instead of Primary.

Indebted Kindness has some really good perk options. For PvE, in the left column, we have perk options like Lead from Gold, Enlightened Action, and Impulse Amplifier while in the right column, we have options of Adagio and Voltshot. For PvP, we can use perks like Impulse Amplifier and Offhand Strike in the left column and Adagio in the right column.

1 Buried Bloodline

  • Potent thanks to how easily it lets you get Devour and maintain it.

Buried Bloodline is the Exotic weapon from the Warlord’s Ruin that drops after beating the final boss as a random RNG drop. Buried Bloodline is a Sidearm that has Void affinity and uses Special ammunition. It shoots a projectile that automatically tracks combatants.

Buried Bloodline has the Exotic trait which allows this weapon to leech health from targets upon defeating them. It also has the Exotic perk, Violent Reanimation, which gives the player Devour when you rapidly defeat combatants with this weapon. Devour, even after its nerf, is extremely potent, and Buried Bloodline allows you to have Devour on any subclass, not just Void.
